On the weekend of Week 5 we, the Year 9s, had an incredible time on Machane Zooz! This was our first camp sleeping over for the weekend including shabbat. The theme of this camp was shabbat - which was very fitting being our first altogether as a whole. The camp was filled with ruach, tochniot, chugim and extremely fun games. The shabbat was very uplifting with amazing food and vibes. For us and our year we had the best time. All the mads, teachers and students really brought the camp alive and it made this camp the best one yet. Thank you to everyone involved including Mrs Niss, Mr Lawrence, our madrichim and the kitchen crew.

As I write, we have just concluded the festival of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The time in Shule (synagogue) was wonderful, uplifting, joyous and reflective. As I pondered the year that was and thought ahead to the year that will be, I also took stock of all that I am grateful for. When I think of the one thing that has had the greatest, most positive impact on my lif ...

I have been using the first few months of my role as Board President to meet as many of our School and Jewish community members as possible.
