In Week 10, our Year 7s set off on a four-day camp with Mr Quelch, Morah Gunders-Hunt, Mr Lavi, the听Tzevet听and OKC Hadassa Solomon, marking the end of the Semester 1 weekly Bar and Bat Mitzvah classes. The students faced challenging conditions, including cold weather, and made the absolute best of it.

They started off with orienteering and a hike. At the campsite they learned how to build a fire, construct a wilderness shelter and听performed听team-building exercises along with educational learning sessions about the meaning of becoming a Bar\Bat Mitzvah. They experienced group responsibility and resourcefulness - traits our community welcomes as they transition from children to adults.
