On Sunday 2 May the second 2021 Schools Chess League tournament (the Central Zonal) was held at Mount听Lawley Primary School.听Fifty-three听players from 12 different schools听participated, including Carmel,听with the competition听being听very closely contested from both a school and individual player perspective.听Mazal tov to听Daniel听L,听who won the individual contest!听His performance was听superb听and he was the only player to beat the听highest rated听and听favourite听to win the tournament!听
